Hey Red Deer! I’m Troy…president and GM of L.A. Radio Group Inc. This really means that I get really cool business cards! It’s a real treat to walk into KRAZE studios everyday and feel this enormous energy from the staff. We have a great crew and a very fun radio channel! When I’m not roaming the KRAZE 1013 hallways, you can find me hanging with my wife Sonia and two kids Nakita and Bryce. We’re into boating, sports, movies and simply spending time with each other. Sonia Sawyer - Operations/Sales Manger
Sonia is the other half of the Executive for L.A. Radio Group Inc. Sonia is married to Troy Stevens and together they are owners/ operators of L.A. Radio Group Inc. They have two super cute children Bryce and Nakita. Sonia has a long history in Red Deer; she went to junior high at Eastview and started high school at Lindsey Thurber (when it was the only public high school). Sonia spent several years as TV Producer before branching out into marketing and communications for groups such as: Tunnels of Moose Jaw, Collicutt Energy and Red Deer Downtown Business Association.
Dennis Allan – Program Director & Music Manager
I’m a true Alberta boy, born in Edmonton and raised in nearby Fort Saskatchewan. You may recognize me from such poker rooms as the luxurious [insert favourite location here]. I’m not a full-time player, but it’s one of my favourite year-round hobbies – accompanied by river rafting on a hot summer day, or cuddling with a movie during a winter snow-storm.
I’m proud to work with everyone at L.A. Radio Group. My twelfth year in radio is spent building, launching, and enjoying KRAZE 101-3. We hope you KRAVE the KRAZE as much as we do!
Jeremy Hill - Producer
Oh, hello internet! I’m Jeremy (or Jezza, depending on who you ask), the producer for Kraze 101-3….which basically means I sit on my butt and play with a computer all day. I grew up in St. Albert, suburban capital of Alberta, and went to school at NAIT for Radio and Television. Troy and Sonia were nice enough to offer me a job here after my practicum, and the façade of me being a “real producer” is still paying off! I love working with everyone here at Kraze, and everyday is way more fun than the last! Hobbies? Oh, good question! I enjoy drinking, books, music, drinking, cooking, drinking, and drinking! I’m very new to Red Deer, so if you wanna show me around town, shoot me an email! You can buy me a beer…or three.
Mark Crichton: Chief Engineer/Maintenance Manager
I have the Chief Engineer/Maintenance Manager position which means that when the equipment works well, nobody notices me, but when things don't work properly, I become the most popular guy at the station!
I have called Red Deer home for 14 years, married to a wonderfully patient woman for 18 years and have three great kids.
