Wow, I think it’s time to take down my original profile, here’s why.  It’s not easy to put into a paragraph what you’re all about, I find you have to spend time together to really learn the nuances and quirks of a person, this is why instead of the usual bio I’ve brought you a map to guide you to where the personality is plentiful and the sun shines three and a half hours a day guaranteed, with that in mind please listen to my show.

I mean you’ve already taken the time to visit this site so why not go that extra bit and join me 5:30-9am weekday mornings.  When you think about it, not enough people take the time to go that extra little bit, wouldn’t you like to be that one that starts to turn the tides one little click at a time?

Some guys will advertise to gain friends for their show, we’re all about the guilt, just like mom used to make.

 Allegedly, Diesel and Rae needed someone to check their facts for them in the mornings, and lucky me, I get to be that man.

I’m Matt, and I’ve been in Central Alberta for over 3 years now, honing my craft (see: talking really loudly and matter-of-factly) at sister station Sunny 94.

I now provide a nice break every half hour in the morning for Central Albertans looking for the top stories from around the region and probably something about a crocodile that ate a mailbag…or something…let’s be honest.

You’ll also hear me weigh in on various issues that end in D & R calling me a nerd and then yelling at me to say things in an Aaron Neville voice.

I enjoy grilled cheese sandwiches and I was going to make this list longer, but I think that pretty much sums me up right there.

I hate writing bios, because I feel this intense pressure to be funny.  And if you’ve heard the show before, you’d know that I’m anything but funny.  Although it doesn’t sound like, I’ve been doing this radio thing for a long time; because I have no other skills or talents.  I recently pursued the Alberta dream in the oil fields.  As it turns out, I was too ugly for that…and not to mention the fact that “real work” is REAL WORK.

Seriously though, I think Steve Jobs said it best, “Do what you love and love what you do.”  I think it was Steve Jobs…or maybe it was the Pope.  The point is… I’m getting tired of all this typing.  So here’s how my best friend would describe me: “Zap Davids is a man of mystery and power, whose power is exceeded only by his mystery.”

Hey dudes! I'm Ransom, you're Ride Host and music guy here at Kraze 101.3. Join me for slick new hits and a little something for your mind to chew on weekdays from 3pm-7pm with Festival Ford! I'm all about MUSIC. Since I can't play it, sing it or perform it (except in the privacy of my shower) - working on the radio is the next best thing. Plus, I'm all about NEW music - so, working at Kraze is a match made in heaven.

My wife and I have lived in Red Deer now for two years and love it!  We recently welcomed our son into the world, have a couple dogs and live a wild life of pool parties, all-nighters and binges. Ugh, ok, that's not exactly true... But, we do enjoy getting out to Three Mile Bend for a stroll, hittin up the Big Moo for some Ice Cream and watching the Canucks play. I personally am a big fan of golf (though, I stink), mountain biking, football, just about any kind of beer and yes, hockey. I also dislike anything that crawls, heights and Budweiser (C'mon, it just doesn't taste right!?)

Hey I’m the new Epic Evenings announcer for Kraze!

I’m originally from St. Albert. So I am an Alberta girl but sadly I’d have to say beef is my least favorite meat. I got in to radio mostly for a lack of… well qualifications… skills… abilities… I wanted to be a business women back in the day, I went for my bachelor of commerce and realized I am TERRIBLE at math, so I went travelling instead and went caving a few times and I thought maybe I could be a professional caver… What I failed to realize is I am afraid of the dark and I hate enclosed spaces… so needless to say that didn’t work out. I also really wanted to be a rock star. I had a band for 12 years… we weren’t ever as good as we thought we were. But I’ve always had a musical background and I think that’s actually what led me to radio.

Important things to know about me: I LOVE Cheese, I’m allergic to apples, I’m a soduko master, I dig snowboarding, I’m very competitive when it comes to board games and if I laugh really hard at your joke it’s probably because I didn’t get it… J

We are a true family business, and the only locally owned radio company in the area.  We launched Sunny 94 in June 2006 and launched Kraze 101-3 in July 2009.  Central Alberta has been great supporters of our radio stations and we are truly blessed to have two thriving companies in the best place on earth! I’m a true Alberta boy, born in Edmonton and raised in nearby Fort Saskatchewan. You may recognize me from such poker rooms as the luxurious [insert favourite location here]. I’m not a full-time player, but it’s one of my favourite year-round hobbies – accompanied by river rafting on a hot summer day, or cuddling with a movie during a winter snow-storm.

I’m proud to work with everyone at L.A. Radio Group. My twelfth year in radio is spent building, launching, and enjoying KRAZE 101-3. We hope you KRAVE the KRAZE as much as we do!

I'm the Radio producer at the #1 Hit Music Channel in Red Deer, and loving every minute of it.

 I was born in the wagon of a travellin’ show.  I like collectin’ rocks and eatin’ lobster rolls on an iddy biddy island called Miscou.  Writin’ commercials-n-stuff, don’tchaknow?  Yo-Yo-Yo!  Jigglypuff! 
I hope to place my future Pulitzer on the mantle in the cottage I am going to build on Miscou Island.  Well, I’m actually not very handy and probably shouldn’t even be allowed to have scissors so I will design the cottage and have someone who can be trusted with power tools handle the construction.
In my opinion, of all the classical composers, Mozart would have given the best parties.  That has nothing to do with anything, I just wanted to put it out there. 

Hey, I’m Cassie Arnold and I am an Account Manager here at Kraze.   I couldn’t be happier to be a part of this fun and positive atmosphere!

A little bit about me:  I am originally from Yorkton SK (some of you may have heard of it, some of you may not of!) and grew up on a farm there with my Dad, Mom, and three sisters.  I made the move to Red Deer for college, where I took Business Administration.   I absolutely fell in love with Red Deer and decided to stay put.

I enjoy working in radio! I’ve met some great people, have had many fun times and am looking forward to many more to come.  Also…I’ve been known to enjoy a nice glass of wine!

Hiya, I''m Amanda and I am the Station Manager here at Kraze101.3.   I have been with KRAZE since its launch in July 2009, I started as the Sponsorship, Promotions and Interactive Manager before being promoted to my current position.  I am lucky to work with the best talent around, we have a great team and everyone just wants to do the very best they can  -  and have fun doing it.

Life before KRAZE was in the UK and I have always worked in radio - I just don't want to do anything else!  The best thing about KRAZE is most definitely the people, we share a common goal to make great radio and there is always beer in the fridge!

 Hello Matt here with Kraze 101-3. I was born in Calgary, home of the BEST hockey team in the world. Flames rule! After being deemed far too good looking to be a city boy, my family moved to the bustling metropolis of Torrington. Yes, they have a gopher museum - No, it wasn't my idea. Upon graduation from high school in Trochu, I was off to college in Red Deer enrolling myself in the Business Administration Program. Next was a bizarre mixture of jobs ranging from retail sales in clothing and furniture and I even played poker professtionally for two years, this of course was long before it was the trend it is today. In 2008, lady luck was on my side and I landed a job in radio. I now pass my days as a marketing consultant doing my best to help business owners grow their companies. I've never been a part of a company who cares more about their clients then L.A. Radio Group. Everyday I wake up and think to myself 'I LOVE RADIO', I hope after partnering with us you'll be thinking the same thing!

I’m Steph, L.A. Radio Group’s newest Account Manager/Sales Rep/Advertising Genius/The Girl Who Wears a lot of Tights and Sweater Dresses.  I’m no stranger to Kraze, as I originally was a Creative Writer here when we first launched in 2009.

I come from the small town of Three Hills, AB but left right after high school and never looked back.  The past 5 years of my life have been spent exploring the world of radio in Red Deer and Calgary.  Once I figured I knew enough about the industry, I happily came home to L.A. Radio Group to bring my experience in the business to the sales side of helping my favourite Central Alberta clients!

They say, “If the shoe fits, wear it.”…and this one certainly does!
