Wow, I think it’s time to take down my original profile, here’s why.  It’s not easy to put into a paragraph what you’re all about, I find you have to spend time together to really learn the nuances and quirks of a person, this is why instead of the usual bio I’ve brought you a map to guide you to where the personality is plentiful and the sun shines three and a half hours a day guaranteed, with that in mind please listen to my show.

I mean you’ve already taken the time to visit this site so why not go that extra bit and join me 5:30-9am weekday mornings.  When you think about it, not enough people take the time to go that extra little bit, wouldn’t you like to be that one that starts to turn the tides one little click at a time?

Some guys will advertise to gain friends for their show, we’re all about the guilt, just like mom used to make.

Hi I'm Rae, Diesel's new main (radio) squeeze.  I'm a BC girl born and bred, but have lived in Calgary and Drumheller for 5 years collectively. I'm coming down from the wilderness of Northern BC, and happy to be back in the action of Alberta. 
 
I'm into fueling the fire from trashy gossip websites, The Office, karaoke, and interpretive dancing.  I laugh often and loudly, and greatly believe in the use of the term "sidebar''.

I am a very strange girl….I love everything from Mariah Carey (I’m obsessed really) to Sci-Fi (This is why my husband loves me I think). Yep sorry guys I’m married….But would like to mention my husband is in the military and is away a lot, so I do like to get out and have fun! I love a good club, movie or hockey game! Go Flames Go (sorry non Flames fans!)

I love what I do….I mean who gets to play tunes all day, Say whatever they want, meet celebrities and give away cool stuff! Beats being a receptionist, which was my career before radio school. I made more money then but this gig is way more fun!

Speaking of my career it started in my home town of Calgary. I was a button pusher, Coffee gopher, event set up person whatever they needed me to be at CJay 92 and Vibe 985.  Then I finally got my first on air gig in Bonnyville at Cat Country 1310 CHLW. Then I was off to Thunder Bay to work at Rock 101, Hot 105 and did some writing for Thunder Bay’s Source newspaper. Finally it was back to Calgary to join the team at Vibe 985, this time as a real live girl!

Now I am totally excited to make Red Deer my home! And join the Kraze Family! From 9am-2pm I will keep it interesting! If not at least I’ll find guests who will or hook you up with great stuff!

Hey! I’m Ransom, check me out from 6-10 weekday nights on Red Deers #1 Hit Channel KRAZE 101.3!

I’m originally from the Okanagan Valley in BC and have been in Alberta now for 4 years and love it! I’ve lived in Calgary and Medicine Hat and am stoked to make Red Deer my home. I’m engaged (sorry ladies) and love spending time with “the wife” and my dog, Scarlette Bagonias Johansson Ransom. I’m also big into mountain biking and golfing – even though I suck at both, I still enjoy them.

A couple things you should know about me… My laugh sounds like a chainsaw – a busted, old chainsaw,  I’m a huge Canucks fan, You’re better at video games than me, I’ve eaten a cows tongue before,  and cheap beer is the best beer (unless you’re buying…). I’ve also been known to watch a lot of football, baseball and hockey, but I still can’t understand why they televise Poker! Do they really think a card game is a sport?!

Born and raised in rural Newfoundland... I know what you're thinking, I've heard them all. ;-) After getting a $40,000 piece of paper known as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Archaeology, I worked at a variety of jobs before moving to Alberta in 2006. And oddly enough, none of those jobs involved wearing a fedora, cracking a whip or running away from gigantic boulders.

After soaking in the radio stations of Edmonton for couple of years, I decided to give NAIT's radio program a try. I figured a job in radio has to be more fun than counting pieces of broken pottery. And man, is it ever. If you want a career that's fun, exciting, and with minimal heavy lifting, radio is the gig for you. Troy and Sonia took me on for my internship and I haven't looked back. I couldn't have picked a better place to start my career.



I live with my wonderful wife Jocelyn right here in Red Deer and we spend our time checking out the local sights, watching lots of television shows and movies on DVD, taking care of our cats Dirty Kitty and Monkey Feets (she named them) and cooking. Usually a relationship has one good cook, we have two. Soon I will be too fat to wear headphones.

I can be found lurking around the office helping where I can or in the studio 8-4 on the weekends on Red Deer's Number One Hit Music Channel Kraze 101.3! Give me a call at 314-HITS!

Sonia is the other half of the Executive for L.A. Radio Group Inc. Sonia is married to Troy Stevens and together they are owners/ operators of L.A. Radio Group Inc. They have two super cute children Bryce and Nakita. Sonia has a long history in Red Deer; she went to junior high at Eastview and started high school at Lindsey Thurber (when it was the only public high school).  Sonia spent several years as TV Producer before branching out into marketing and communications for groups such as: Tunnels of Moose Jaw, Collicutt Energy and Red Deer Downtown Business Association.

I’m a true Alberta boy, born in Edmonton and raised in nearby Fort Saskatchewan. You may recognize me from such poker rooms as the luxurious [insert favourite location here]. I’m not a full-time player, but it’s one of my favourite year-round hobbies – accompanied by river rafting on a hot summer day, or cuddling with a movie during a winter snow-storm.

I’m Jeremy (or Jezza, depending on who you ask), the producer for Kraze 101-3….which basically means I sit on my butt and play with a computer all day.  I grew up in St. Albert, suburban capital of Alberta, and went to school at NAIT for Radio and Television.  Troy and Sonia were nice enough to offer me a job here after my practicum, and the façade of me being a “real producer” is still paying off!  I love working with everyone here at Kraze, and everyday is way more fun than the last! Hobbies? Oh, good question! I enjoy drinking, books, music, drinking, cooking, drinking, and drinking!  I’m very new to Red Deer, so if you wanna show me around town, shoot me an email! HI! I’m Amanda and I am the SPI Manager here at Kraze101.3. This means I get to look after the on air promotions, sponsorships and interactive activity on the radio station, it is definitely the best job in the radio station and I love it.

I’ve been with Kraze from the launch and before that, I lived in the UK and have always worked in radio. The best thing about working at Kraze is the people, we have a lot of fun and there’s always beer in the fridge!

I decided to make a big move to Saskatoon to attend Broadcasting College and right after an even bigger move to Yorkton to get my career started. Although I made some good friends and gained experience, my heart was still in Central Alberta. I made my way back to Red Deer about 4 years ago where I’ve had the chance to wear many different hats, all the way from community cruiser to on-air to promotions. I am excited to have a new opportunity with KRAZE 101.3FM as an Account Manager...aka I can help you with your advertising.

 Hello Matt here with Kraze 101-3. I was born in Calgary, home of the BEST hockey team in the world. Flames rule! After being deemed far too good looking to be a city boy, my family moved to the bustling metropolis of Torrington. Yes, they have a gopher museum - No, it wasn't my idea. Upon graduation from high school in Trochu, I was off to college in Red Deer enrolling myself in the Business Administration Program. Next was a bizarre mixture of jobs ranging from retail sales in clothing and furniture and I even played poker professtionally for two years, this of course was long before it was the trend it is today. In 2008, lady luck was on my side and I landed a job in radio. I now pass my days as a marketing consultant doing my best to help business owners grow their companies. I've never been a part of a company who cares more about their clients then L.A. Radio Group. Everyday I wake up and think to myself 'I LOVE RADIO', I hope after partnering with us you'll be thinking the same thing!

Hey y'all. I'm Heidi. The newest addition to this big Kraz-ee crew. When asked what I do at the station, my response is 'a little of everything and the stuff in between'. I sorta have my fingers in many different aspects of the daily goings on.  First and foremost, I am the girl who you will see when you come in and also on the other end of the telephone if you call to make any inquiries. I may be new to this industry but I am super stoked for the opportunity to work with everyone here. Its an amazing place to be.

I've made jokes since starting here that I'm glad there's no video surveillance here at Kraze. I'm often dancing behind my desk and that could potentially be very embarrassing or blackmail footage which, well...let's face the facts, just wouldn't be cool.
